This is an exciting time for the Audit team and the Critical Care Units at King’s as a new, state of the art computerised Clinical Information System was introduced in November 2016.

The Audit team are actively involved in the development of reporting within the new system as well as management of the CCMDS and ICNARC data. If you are pro-active, dynamic, can show initiative in managing your workload and have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a stressful environment we would love to hear from you You will work as part of large, dynamic team, who are jointly responsible for the collection of clinical audit data, generating reports, and facilitating monthly audit meetings for staff in the Critical Care Units & Mobile ICUs. You will also help with training in data collection, and promoting a clinical audit culture within the Critical Care Units.You must have proven computer skills, however comprehensive training in the relevant systems will be provided. A post-registration Critical Care course is desirable as is experience of research and audit, and experience of working within a similar clinical environment. However, you must have experience working in Critical Care and UK recognised degree or be actively working towards one. Post-registration education in teaching (e.g. Mentorship for Professional Practice / ENB 998) is essential.

The Denmark Hill sitehas 4 Critical Care Units providing specialist care across all specialities for critically ill liver, medical and surgical patients, including neurosurgery, neurology, trauma, orthopaedics, general surgery, cardiothoracic, cardiology, renal and haematology. A new purpose built 60+ bedded unit is due to open in 2018.

The Princess Royal University sitein Bromley has 10 beds within its Critical Care Unit and provides specialist care across many specialities for critically ill medical and surgical patients, including hyper-acute stroke, haematology, oncology, gastroenterology, ENT and endocrine. In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer well-established, structured teaching and staff development programmes for all staff. We are affiliated to University of Greenwich and King’s College, London, which provide a wide variety of modules that will lead to BSc or MSc in Critical Care Nursing. Closing Date : 24/1/2018
