We currently have opportunities for Staff Nurses based at Denmark Hill - London. The Neuroscience nursing care at King’s enables you to apply A&P to each patients care to truly understand how best to help them recover that is truly patient centred. All newly qualified Staff Nurses enter the Kings Foundation in Neuroscience course accredited with Kings College London University and the Institute of Neuroscience. This also involves teaching, study time and a rotation through the 9 Neurosurgery, Neuromedicine, Hyper Acute Stroke, Neuro HDU and rehab wards as well as a well know excellent preceptorship programme. Experienced Staff Nurses complete mentorship and the post graduate Neuroscience Nursing Modules. All staff have a mentor and PDN who support you to achieve your career development.
Our tertiary Neuroscience Wards provide care for patients from all over the UK, London and Kent at KING'S in south London. We perform 3000 neurosurgical operations a year and you experience the very best in tertiary Neuroscience. You will be well supported by a highly visible senior nursing team, PDN's and Clinical Nurse Specialists. The state of the art clinical and academic campus at KING'S College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides the most innovative care backed by pioneering research. We are supported by state of the art theatres, 5 ITU's and the trauma helipad. We offer individual support and a great team to help you settle in your new post and work through and achieve your competencies and career goals.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
