King’s College Hospital Interventional Radiology department at the Denmark Hill site are currently seeking applications from dedicated registered nurses with an interest in radiology to join our motivated, friendly and supportive team. We can offer you the opportunity of working within all different clinical areas in the department, including the Angio suite, CT scan, Ultrasound and recovery. Our Education Team provides structured teaching support to all staff and our development programmes are well established, including courses affiliated to King’s College London. We would also be very pleased to welcome applications from experienced nurses with a background in Interventional Radiology, who wish to develop their careers in this dynamic and exciting environment that provides a pro-active approach to Radiology nursing.

The Interventional Radiology department runs a day time service from Monday to Friday with varying shift patterns. With further training and development, the Band 5 nurse will have the opportunity to rotate to the nurse-led pre-assessment clinic and provide cover for our 24 hour on call service including weekends and bank holidays.

Please note this will involve a drug calculations test, which you are required to pass Interviews will be arranged with shortlisted candidates on an individual basis.
