We are currently seeking to recruit a number of Patient Records Assistants
to work Monday to Friday 14.00 to 22.00 in our busy Patient Record Library.

You will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the efficient
running of the Patient Records Library; the duties will include filing,
retrieval, dealing with telephone queries, archiving patient
records. You will work as part of a multi-functional team and will possess the ability
to adapt to a changing environment. These roles will be heavily involved in the
searching and locating of case notes.

The candidates must have a good sense of responsibility and able to apply Trust
policies, be well organised, have excellent communication skills, both written
and verbally, enthusiastic, motivated, confident, can work under pressure in
order to meet challenging deadlines.

An attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

This post is physically demanding and requires a significant amount of manual
handling (lifting, bending, stretching, pushing and pulling of trolleys),

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
