We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic optometrist to join our friendly team in this busy eye clinic.
The King’s Ophthalmology Department at Denmark Hill is large, serving a diverse and vibrant local population. In addition we also receive a large number of tertiary referrals for our specialist services (including cornea, glaucoma, medical and surgical retina, neuro-ophthalmology, paediatrics, anterior segment, uveitis and oculo-plastics). We are also involved in retinal research trials. King’s is committed to providing a rich teaching environment for staff.
The post holder joining a team of 8 orthoptists, 3 optometrists, 6 technicians, 3 photographers and work alongside 12 consultant ophthalmologists. Alongside complex refraction the postholder will work collaboratively to deliver shared care of glaucoma and paediatrics and a variety of other clinics when necessary.
Applicants should hold a degree in Optometry and have GOC registration.
