King's College Hospital NHS foundation Trust is part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC), a pioneering collaboration between King's College London, and Guy's and St Thomas', King's College Hospital and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts.
We are looking for a dedicated, innovative and motivated registered nurse lead our nursing team in Dermatology Outpatients at the Denmark Hill site.
To be considered for the role you should have studied at degree level and hold an appropriate specialist course in dermatology as well as a mentorship qualification. Suitable applicants will also need to have substantive nursing experience working in a similar clinical environment at Band 6.
We are looking for a clinical expert with experience of service improvement and proven management and leadership skills. Successful applicants will be working in a friendly and dynamic nursing team and will be supervised by the Matron for Dermatology.
To succeed you must have strong leadership skills, be highly confident, have excellent communication skills, proficient IT skills, and a flexible pro-active approach and be able to manage a varied and demanding workload as well as supervise and develop others.
Although primarily based at the Denmark Hill site the post holder depending on the needs of the service may be expected to cover the Beckenham Beacon site on occasions.
