Locum Consultant in Palliative Medicine (10PAs)

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the hospital palliative care team at King’s College Hospital. This is a busy clinical team with strong academic links with the Cicely Saunders Institute of Palliative Care. The team work Trust wide and are embedded in all clinical services with a strong focus on care for patients with both non-cancer and cancer diagnoses. The post holder will join the established and experienced palliative care team at the Denmark Hill site, but will also work collaboratively with colleagues at the Princess Royal University Hospital site, in the community and across King’s Health Partners. This post is a locum post, initially for 6 months, but plans are in place for a substantive appointment to follow.

The post is full time (10PAs); however those wanting to work less than full time or as a job share are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be on the GMC register for Palliative Medicine or be within 6 months of their CCT at the time of interview and be subject to the disclosure procedure of the Criminal Records Bureau.
