Pharmacy Technician (Rotational)

Are you a qualified and registered Pharmacy Technician currently working within a community setting and interested in pursuing a career in hospital pharmacy? Or are you a qualified and registered Pharmacy Technician currently working within the hospital setting but looking to develop your experience and competency?
We are looking for a capable, enthusiastic and highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Department team here at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We offer you the chance to gain experience in several aspects of hospital pharmacy practice with the highest quality of patient care and experience at the core of our service. You will rotate through three sections of Pharmacy. Aseptics where you will be part of a team preparing CIVAs, TPN, Cytotoxic and other aseptic preparations, Ward MMT where you will be working with the ward base Pharmacy team and liaising with other healthcare staff to provide a direct patient focused pharmacy service and Dispensary where you will be working with the team dispensing TTA, Inpatient and Clinical Trial prescriptions for individual patients. You will also be working with the On-call team providing an Out of Hours Emergency Service for the Trust.
You will also have the opportunity to undertake the ACT course for those who do not yet hold it, and a chance to grow your hospital experience and move on to specialised areas within the department.
