Trauma Anaesthesia & Critical Care Specialist Clinical Fellow
Applications are invited from experienced anaesthetists and/or intensivists with an interest in Trauma Anaesthesia and Critical Care, for a 1 year rotational post between2 of the capitals biggest Major Trauma Centre’s, The Royal London Hospital and King’s College Hospital.Post holders would be based within the Critical Care departments at both hospitals, but would attend all major trauma calls and spend time gaining experience in other fields related to acute trauma care, including radiology, audit, research and teaching. Post holders would spend 6 months working at each institution.
Whilst these posts are not recognised by the Deanery for training, the Trusts are committed to the educational development of medical staff within this programme. The posts would be particularly suitable for trainees looking for Out of Programme Experiences (OOPE). Every clinical fellow will be allocated an educational supervisor at each hospital and they will have the opportunity to access organized teaching across the network.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
